I didn't have to have chemo or anything, thank goodness.

Don't look at it as a weakness-- it's a chapter in your life and you're stronger from it. Many people get cancer, sadly, so you're not alone! Just be glad you were able to overcome it.

Glad to hear the good news girl. Keep pushing forward!

Even posting it here makes me squeamish. It's embarassing to me, and I don't know why. I totally feel like I'm exposing some kind of weakness, even though I'm FINE now seven years later... *hides*

I am lovin' hearing your story about being a survivor. I have lost way too many family members to the evil cancer & it is really nice to hear of someone who beat it. I'm glad you got a clean bill of health and really hope you can learn to feel pride in your strength to be a survivor instead of embarassment. You are strong and spirited and deserve feel that pride & to be proud to share your story with those of us who really need to hear it.

I celebrated with some wild foil nails. I never do anything this crazy with my nails!
LOVE the nails!

Mysteek: Nothing wrong with being friends with an ex. My husband and I are both friends with mine. In fact sometimes I think they like each other more than me lol. I'd have some mixed feeling about the sister dating the ex thing. I mean it is kinda wrong but at the same time you cant help who you fall in love with. So I guess it would depend on how they ended up feeling about each other. If they both seriously ended up in love I'd be happy for them both. But I'd be a little ticked if she just used him to warm her bed.

Belle: I can understand feeling embarrassed. I have issues that i was very embarrassed about telling anyone. However we can't help these kinds of things and there really is no reason to be embarrassed of them. In fact your story could help give someone else going thru it the same strength and courage you had to get through it themselves. Also love the nails.

I just came back from the body shop. Everything is basically waiting right now on the insurance adjuster to get his butt out here. The earliest Sasuke will get to go to the bodyshop will be July cause they are so busy but I was assured he would be utter perfection in time for Camarofest. And I will be getting my wish of Carbon Flash Metallic ground effects. So happy right now lol. I was very worried about the insurance not wanting to replace my rear bumper ( a repair wouldnt make the body lines 100%) so I talked ot my estimater at the shop today and he assured me if the insurance insists on a repair that they will make sure I get my brand new bumper with perfect body lines. So now I feel a little less stressed out about the whole thing. Im sad Sasuke is going to miss the Fbody Gathering in Somerset. :( But I will have my 2002 red trans am with the big black bird on the WS6 hood there. Which makes my husband extremely happy lol.

Well, I don't think I have to worry about my ex anymore. He opened up to me about a new girl he is trying to get with, and as a friend I told him some things he didn't want to hear. His divorce isn't final, and SHE was the one cheating on him so he kicked her out. They also have 3 kids together, and I told him he was being an idiot going out already looking for a new POA while he is technically still married. Some other things came out too along the lines of him needing to grow up and realize his choices don't solely affect him anymore and that his kids should come first. Yeah, well he didn't like that too much. So we aren't talking.

Jewel you might want to try wetting the surface before you apply them, so you can move them around easily and get them just right, then squeegee the air bubbles out easily

I am having someone apply them for me. He said he has been applying them for years.

Wish it was hot here - I think it got up to 60 today... Rained all day. But that didn't stop me - Ladybug got a wash, clay, wash, buff, polish, and wax! Neighbors think I'm nuts for washing in the rain, I'm sure. Did everything else in the garage. The sun came out just as I finished, just in time for a pic to show off how pretty and shiny she is!!

Feeling of accomplishment when ya get all that done isn't it Jeanette? Here's a tip I learned from someone, you can clay bar while the car is soapy! Then you don't have to wash, clay, wash again and you save all that detail spray to boot.
Sarah - 13 lbs you GO girl!
Mysteek, glad that man is history!
Jewel, post some pix when you get those blackouts done!
Me, I washed Trigger after work tonight (did all the other steps last weekend before the car shows), so I'll have a nice clean Camaro to drive over to Seattle in tomorrow night. Now I just hope Seattle rained itself out today so I can have a dry trip. I am assured by my tire guy that 4 20" tires on wheels will fit in my Camaro - 1 in the trunk, 2 in the back seat, and 1 in the passenger seat. I will take pictures
My strawberries are doing fabulous, got enough to make a batch of jam tonight, and that is just the first picking. No way my corn will be knee high by the 4th of july though. This cool spring just doesn't do much for the baby plantlings.

Actually, Tori, the paint guy at the shop I go to suggested claying using Dawn instead of detail spray, then you get the greasy gunk too (not to mention, detail spray leaves a residue). But then you have to wash the Dawn off... Same concept, though! I do feel accomplished. And sore....

I wish you weren't getting into Seattle so late, I'd love to see you! Oh well, I guess pics of all those wheels will just have to do... Hey, wait a minute, will there be room for Turbo???
