Not really. I asked where they emphasized autocross, not where they mentioned it. I can pull out mentions of park assist in GM's ZL1 press release and say they emphasized parking, but that doesn't make it accurate. Emphasis would be more along the lines of,

"The gt500 is also a fantastic autocross car. . ."

"The gt500 is also well suited for autocross. . . "

Not, "Switching to racing tires or running in an autocross event on a warm Saturday morning may call for a launch speed closer to the upper end of the range."

I suppose they put emphasis on warm Saturday mornings as well.

Winner...indeed

Apparently, Ocd doesn't realize that Press Releases are written...very carefully...and for a stated purposeful reason.

GM got theirs alllll wrong, regarding Zl1s, or so the Ford faithful are quick to confirm/condemn.

But Ford's releases are held to a much different standard...by Ford Fans...

Why is that?!

Doctors take the HYPOCRATIC oath...Ford fans take the HYPOCRITIC oath, apparently...

Drag racing: 4 times; Autocross: 2 times; Parking: ZERO.

Was I suppost to mention word, for word, our exact conversation? You seem to be pulling your hair out, over this topic. Calm down. It's just a car. However, since you're interested in our exact conversation, I will further add - that he mentioned the brake fade he was getting at Buttonwillow. Again, he is a member here. I am sure he will have no problem, to chime in on his review.

Did you ride to school, in a little yellow bus? That seriously made no sense.

Speaking of all the trash-talk going on, who made the following quote?

"Whatever the competition comes out with, we're going to kick the hell out of them".

Now that the official period of mourning is over, this matter-of-fact statement was made, last year, by the late-great Carroll Shelby, surrounded by smiling SVT engineers.

Thanks to tooslow for "reminding" me.

Yeah but this was said by Inside Line in their comparison of the 12 ZL1 & 13 Shelby-

Nothing is more humbling than watching a car with 100 fewer horses and the extra weight of an NFL running back disappear into the distance on a back road. But that's exactly what happened when we brought the two cars together to establish which is the best-driving pony car ever. The answer, as improbable as it seemed, was as obvious as the Camaro's shrinking taillights.

The angriest Mustang in history, the car that had face-punched the ZL1 for months at auto shows and in Web forums was being systematically annihilated by that exact car. Every corner was another opportunity for the Camaro to drop trou and wave its giant bowtie-emblazoned butt in the GT500's face.

Never a fan of blacked out headlights or rear tails. I think it would look badass without tint.
