Supposedly, it's because 6 west coast refineries are off line now. One in WA due to a fire a couple of months ago. I think the refineries (except the one with the fire) all scheduled downtime together on orders from the oil companies just so they could jack up prices. Then again, I'm a conspiracy theorist...

wouldn't doubt they could do something like that. We are at 3.49-.69 for 93.

Wow and I thought the prices here were high at $3.90. I sometimes wonder about how the prices are determined as well. It seems like the prices are higher around my hoyse then in a lot of other places in NY except for NYC.

I don't know what your gas tank situation will be when you head on into South lake Tahoe next week, but prices are much lower here in the Carson City / Reno area.

My laptop is on the fritz, so I'll try to get some pics posted tomorrow......Loved,loved, loved the GM proving grounds........I have got some good ideas for my car after today, and it was just day 1.......

I had a great day, went to a car show in Post Falls, Idaho and won Ladies Choice.

Gas is a little cheaper on the east side of WA but not much. My Chevron station is at 3.89 - I thought I'd fill up in Idaho, they are usually about 50 cents cheaper but even Idaho was high.
