Dyno numbers don't mean dick. If it doesn't translate to the track then it is worthless. A dyno is nothing more than a tool to refine with. |

Haters gonna hate dude. Dont hear them. They're just jealous at the road track oriented performance of the ZL1. A car proven to be a road track machine. Why isnt Ford hasnt release The Ring numbers yet? Their only card is a straight line number. I even dont care if that 662HP number is underated. No owner Road Track numbers yet? We dont need them, Al O. ran multiples simulations runs so we would not have to worry about that.

I know a few 5.0 bolt-on cars that would show their tail-lights to it which comes back around to my point about dyno numbers..... I don't expect you to understand that however. |

I can't wait to see the new GT500 with slicks. It may run in the 10s with just them.

AND if they finally beat 7:41, who will ensure that they did it legitimately without cheating? Like adding mods to give more rigidity to the chassis or even the use of different tires (cough!, slicks, cough!).

Who ensured that GM didn't cheat with the zl1? Double-standard?

Didnt you see the video?? The ZL1 is a track ready car direct from the Factory. It only had a roll cage cause it was a mandatory mod (Ring's rules) and different brake fluid 'cause the stock brake fluid isn't suited for competition.

You mean ONE dynoed 525rwhp. another dynoed 467rwhp. BTW the 525rwhp one wasnt a dynojet. Ill reserve judgement till i see more dynojet numbers since those are the most common type of dynos. Im gonna guess theyre gonna fall in the 480rwhp range. maybe 490. Given what ive seen GT500's do with 2.3 superchargers, i think 600rwhp stock will be easily doable.Pully and boltons i believe those guys will be in the 725rwhp range.
