Happy dyno maybe...

If the manual Z only loses 55 hp than can we assume that the Shelby will only lose about 30 hp and dyno at 632 rwhp lol...

EDIT: I thought i saw a bunch of 460 rwhp dyno pulls with the Z?
He doesn't really know either.

Dyno numbers don't mean dick. If it doesn't translate to the track then it is worthless. A dyno is nothing more than a tool to refine with.

Got my galoshes on, FFR. Best you find some water-wings...

Road course? ZL1...proven over the BOSS @ VIR...and Arizona, too. "Only by a few seconds", moaned the Ford fans. "Only", indeed...

1/4-mile? Only Ford guys seem to be REALLY excited about a more expen$ive nose-heavy night-MARE having some opportunity at possible redemption, there.

BALANCE. ZL1...in SPADES! After all, this is the new milennium, not the greaseball days of old...

For less dough...and no extra-cost band-aid options required...and no patchwork chili salesmen required.
^THIS!

Haters gonna hate dude. Dont hear them. They're just jealous at the road track oriented performance of the ZL1. A car proven to be a road track machine. Why isnt Ford hasnt release The Ring numbers yet? Their only card is a straight line number. I even dont care if that 662HP number is underated.

No owner Road Track numbers yet? We dont need them, Al O. ran multiples simulations runs so we would not have to worry about that.

I know a few 5.0 bolt-on cars that would show their tail-lights to it which comes back around to my point about dyno numbers..... I don't expect you to understand that however.

I can't wait to see the new GT500 with slicks. It may run in the 10s with just them.

Lmfao!!! You let me kno the lap times of your ZL1 when u bring it to the "road track". Better yet u show me one thread so far showing what this "road track" ZL1 is capable of at the "road track" from the real everyday consumer... I'll be waiting.

AND if they finally beat 7:41, who will ensure that they did it legitimately without cheating? Like adding mods to give more rigidity to the chassis or even the use of different tires (cough!, slicks, cough!).

Who ensured that GM didn't cheat with the zl1? Double-standard?

Thus why the ring times are a joke and meaningless.

It's called marketing.

Didnt you see the video?? The ZL1 is a track ready car direct from the Factory. It only had a roll cage cause it was a mandatory mod (Ring's rules) and different brake fluid 'cause the stock brake fluid isn't suited for competition.

You mean ONE dynoed 525rwhp. another dynoed 467rwhp. BTW the 525rwhp one wasnt a dynojet. Ill reserve judgement till i see more dynojet numbers since those are the most common type of dynos. Im gonna guess theyre gonna fall in the 480rwhp range. maybe 490. Given what ive seen GT500's do with 2.3 superchargers, i think 600rwhp stock will be easily doable.Pully and boltons i believe those guys will be in the 725rwhp range.
