Eh, I wouldn't take anything said about a competitors car too seriously here (or on any other forum for that matter). It can get frustrating watching people TRY and find things to hate about the competitor's cars just to make their car seem superior to themselves. In this case, I think it was just a bit of a ribbing.

I think he was just kidding around but you have to remember that this is a Camaro forum and to expect a unbiased opinion about the competition will not be the norm, but it should be!

one third off of the camaro mustang and challenger prices with the purchase of a family sedan in order to stimulate sales?

And isnt the mustang supposed to be cheaper? I just built one on their site and to it ended up being 34k after I made it liveable.
Camaro and Mustangs acceleration felt very similar the torque in the Camaro is a bit more noticeable though. The 370Z almost feels not as fast the lack of torque when driven after the v8 seems like a let down. I'm not saying it isn't quick and fun, just not that push you into the seat roar of the engine torque that you get with the 8. I chirped the gears in the maro and stang, frequently if I wanted to the Z was more flat , linear so it only chirped 2nd a few times. Once again not bad, just very different. Engine sound as well the Mustang is intoxicating, to a similar extent so is the Maro in all levels of acceleration. The Z has a nice sound almost like the v6 Maro but in the high rpms gets a bit raspy and buzzy

Actually analysts are projecting FORD to be profitable by years end, if I find that link I will post it.

Ford is REALLY kicking ass in the management department. I think they should lend GM a hand in that aspect.

I was reading about them in all of their ducks are in a row and they're cutting down their spending by such an insane amount. They have like $21 billion in cash and can weather out the storm for a bit (not forever, but probably long enough). I can't fault Ford for having a competent team at the wheel.

Whoa, hold up - I was just trying to be a little facetious with you as I went through 3 straight threads with you making the same post about the Genesis. I personally love both the Camaro and the Genesis, so no disrespect was intended.

Yep. This is how a domestic car company should be run, hell any kind of company.

I'm just really impressed with the amount of spending they've been able to cut down and it really makes me curious why GM and Chrysler can't match it.

Well that's good. I hope GM can learn from them and continue to make hotter looking cars than Ford.
