You can get 1,000hp out a GT500 for probably 1/15th the mod price asked for.

srsly 1000hp is impressive n all that, but for 10-20k you can cram 1000-1500 out of any lsx powered vehicle. You don't need a mortgage to do it either.

We all know that the price has nothing to do with the actual components. You are basically paying over $100K to have Shelby's name on it.

Also I know of run down parts of Fort Worth, Texas where you can buy 10 houses for $200K.
