Wouldn't that be confusing? It would just be adding another trim level to the already complicated structure with the GT, Boss, track packs, GT350, GT500, and classic models, like the Cobra. Don't we have enough Mustangs? Maybe we should try actually building a better car.

No, that won't be a problem! Now we'll really give GM hell! With a new halo car, people will be buying Mustangs like crazy!

Interesting post. Might make a hell of a lot more sense if Ford had anything to do with the Shelby 1000 but, alas they do not.

Just another tuner car that isn't worth the $$. JMO.

I know, I don't understand why people think Ford has much to do with this trim line. This is all about Shelby trying to differentiate from the GT500 which is encroaching on his business. Plain and simple. I honestly don't think we have room for Shelby at these levels of performance.

For the 200k plus, Iwould get a GTR, Boss 302, and Camaro 1LE and still have over30k left for a winter 4x4 lol
