I don't think its paranoid to be a little worried about being robbed after winning half a billion dollars.

especially the way the media is whipping this drawing up into a frenzy.

people who never play are playing, people who have NO IDEA what to do with this kind of money.

I heard some woman on the radio this morning "we'll get a new van and my husband can retire."

...really? You win ~$300mil. after tax and your goals are a VAN?

It'll probably go to some 89 year old that's never bought a ticket before. It always does.

True, but I definitely wouldn't wilfully give up any extra information about myself to them. I'm sure they'd find their ways

Can someone just volunteer for the witness protection program?

Not sure of the math (6 factorial something..?) + something for the megaball, but thats what I heard...

Gotta get 5 #'s out of a pool from 1-56 balls
AND the MEGABALL # out of a pool of 1-46 balls
You could have an infinite amount of tickets sold, and still not have a winner. Though if you have every combination sold you will have at least 1 winner.

if you bought 50 tickets, you have an equal amount of odds of being hit by lightning. since i have 80 tickets, then my odds of winning the lottery are better than getting struck by lightning!

your odds are almost as good as just finding a winning ticket laying on the ground!

Is it give, or take? I don't want to come up short.
