I'd have to move if I did not feel safe on the streets unless I had a loaded piece on me all the time.

Have you fired it yet? I really really really really want to get a Five-seveN, but I feel I should wait 'til I've gotten more proficient on my 9 first

I'm really anxious to, but haven't had time.

I've heard it's an absolute blast to shoot. Very accurate and low recoil.

Yeah guys. You gotta lock it in the trunk through IL for sure. They don't make it easy to own guns here.

First, I think everyone agrees this is trajic, and this was easily preventable. Dad is responsible for not properly securing his weapon. Son is a minor and may not be responsible at all. Courts will decide.

As for blaming this on NRA for blocking legislation that would have prevented this, I think that is a stretch. Most times NRA fights because these feel good proposals often erode the rights of other citizens.
PM me with your thoughts... I want to be well informed when something does get put up for a vote...

There's a big sticky at the top of the Off-Topic forums about not getting into politics or religion. While I don't think her post was ill intentioned at all, it could've opened up a can of worms. I'm sure that's why it was deleted.
