Thats a step in the right direction but you may want to add more lean protien like chicken and fish!

Mixing weights some days will make your body look prettier! Go girl!

My cardio tonight is complete!

1 day closer to my bombshell booty!
Thank you, Ladies !

I am now fully aware of what Zumba is...

Time for my workout .....right now !

Just found this thread - what a great idea! I've put on a few pounds over the holidays (from 174 to 181), and have now started to lose - back down to 178. But would like to get back to 165, where I was in 2006 when I dropped 40. And stay there. Lighter weight will make the Camaro go faster!

I'm not a gym person, any repetitive exercise for the sake of exercise bores me to death. Music or videos do not help. So I climb mountains, the small ones we have in New England. So far Mt. Monadnock is my highest at 3,165 ft, followed my Mt. Wachusett at 2,006 ft. I'd like to go once a week starting this spring, as soon as the ice melts.

I'd appreciate any thoughts and encouragement!
Hey!! How are ya?!

I'm good! Congrats on starting to shed the pounts! 165 sounds like a good goal, just those last lbs can be tough!

Climbing mountains?! That sounds fun!! I hike alot in our local foothills! And I understand about getting bored! I have just about every workout DVD out there and I have to do them at random to keep myself from getting bored!!

Stick around and we can help keep ya motivated!

If you like to dance, it is a great combination of cardio, body sculpting, and dance. It is very, very fun and can be very high intensity of you want it to be. You can burn up to 600 calories in an hour just dancing around.

There is zumba at every YMCA. I do it at the Civic Center in Gallatin. I have taken zumba classes at Vol State. There seems to be zumba classes everywhere.

I'm not meaning to thread jack, but could all weight loss buddies please vote for Ruby to win some new wheels? Just go to this link on Facebook, click on view all entries & find the RJT in front of the old tire shop. That's Ruby. Thanks in advance!

Thanks, BB! I appreciate your and everyone's help. Forgot to mention I'm a guy - Catharine is the car's name. Not sure if it matters here - just want to lose the weight and keep it off!
