Would it be possible to let google do the searching? I've been to other sites that let you search the site with google.

If we were only to post about new and never talked about topics, we would all be standing around a big empty room starring at each other.

I suggest "new car" smell....don't get cherry or apple...those void your warranty.

I have found the secret to a good search is to always use "advanced search", much better results that way.

That search function is not fantastic, especially if you don't have the mad skillz required to use it. Go do like a new person... click the search button at the top, type in something like "will a CAI void my warranty", and click go. I just did it, comes up with 478 results.

to all.

Again, the mods job is to do that stuff. It's not up to us to decide what is an acceptable re-hash. Feel free to report them when you see them and it will be determined if it should be merged or just let go.

Just remember that when you 'Report' a post or thread it doesn't mean you are being mean, you are just giving input and trying to help the mods. So report report report.

I cant count how many times I see a friggen CAI, Fuse pull or Can the GM GFX be painted thread be rebirthed.
It does get a little annoying but I have done MORE than my share of annoying people on here. So I just let it go. It's the spammers that I report.

I'd like to see that 'Search' smiley taken off. Make people copy it in if they want to use it.

I've seen attacks for necroing a topic, attacks for starting a new one, attacks for not searching etc............ Some are legit but let the mods handle that. If you don't like seeing re-posted info then you better just turn your internet off.

Between this and searching in the forum I would post the question in if I was looking for an answer the search feature has actually never failed me. From looking for fog lights for my LS to adding the 4-gauge pack, works everytime. It may help that I work in IT though..

I'm no old pro...but I think a lot of threads could be "avoided" if the web-site advocated "read owner's manual first before asking questions"...lol

. I'd add that instead of relying on old post threads and the responses that may not be pertinent at all, are outdated and incomplete, or simply gives wrong information, especially those cluttered with opinions of non factual bases, that admins automatically purge them after six months. So instead of hammering on new peeps, time can be spent weeding sour apples out of the barrell and putting ancient arrogant know it alls out to pasture. Just my Two Cents Worth.
