+1

I'm honestly afraid to ask any questions for fear of getting scolded for not 'searching' when in fact I DO use the search feature but have found it isn't all its cracked up to be I'm sure I'm going to hear it from someone for saying that too

I also notice people using the 0.02 bit more often, as opposed to "two cents" ...and i like it

Re-hashed topics are just fine with me.

Why have a forum if we can't discuss it.

I've seen attacks for necroing a topic, attacks for starting a new one, attacks for not searching etc............ Some are legit but let the mods handle that. If you don't like seeing re-posted info then you better just turn your internet off.

I don't mind the occassional necromancy if its got relevant info or updates. But whenever I see a, "Omg thats so cool!" or "So how did the fuse pull work out?" I'm like really? lol Its not as annoying as someone starting an entirely new thread on a topic thats been beaten to death. I cant count how many times I see a friggen CAI, Fuse pull or Can the GM GFX be painted thread be rebirthed.

It IS funny. I would say I'm fairly new to the forum but have had my Camaro since '09, but sometimes I do a search in the forum and don't find an answer but google the same thing and find multiple answer from Camaro5. Also, the majority of my time spent on the forum is through my phone via Tapatalk and if you thought the actual sites search feature was bad...ugh. Sometimes I can type in the exact title of a thread and no matches will show up.

I think its good they re-hash old topics... especially since the topics aren't old to them..they gotta learn.

Plus, we don't have to open the "Will this CAI void my warranty?" thread, do we?

ABL threads were awesome. And the headlights. And of course Shunt.

Some of those threads were speculation stuff. Back when we didn't know what the car was going to be equipped with.

It was quite common to see........... "I'M CANCELING MY ORDER"

Right, no you aren't.

I'm absolutely positive that nobody preaching the use of the search function has EVER posted/asked about a topic that has been previously discussed

That search function is not fantastic, especially if you don't have the mad skillz required to use it. Go do like a new person... click the search button at the top, type in something like "will a CAI void my warranty", and click go. I just did it, comes up with 478 results.

as annoying as some of the questions are, they are what keep forums alive and active. It's all good.
