I'm not sure what I missed. But I guess I did miss something. Regardless though ... the main point was that the MSRP on the Volt starts under 40k, which it does

Yeah and out of the 50 that are sitting on lots in my area, none of them are under 40k. That's the same thing BMW and companies like them do. They have cars that they list as starting at one price ,but finding one on a lot at that price almost never happens. Face it, the Volt is not worth it. Chevy cut their own throats by building the Cruze eco. The Volt is just a novelty car for the rich just like corvettes and BMW's.
