G8 owner who possibly might switch - Page 2

When it comes to the headers, a dealer won't care. If you're selling privately, it might be worth a few more bucks to someone. (The idea of putting expensive mods on your car makes it worth less is ridiculous, by the way. I've always sold my modded cars at a premium. It's all about the right buyer.)

Anyway, if you're trading the car in, take it to them and get a value from them. Then, take the car home and swap the stock manifolds back to the car. (Tell them you're not leaving them on the car up front. Always be up front and honest in your dealings.)

Otherwise, good luck with the transaction.

Im going to give my sales guy at the dealership a call at lunch and see what he says. They have a pretty 2012 45th ss sitting on there lot, but its auto. (still havent decided on stick or auto)

Still haven't gotten it over there. Decided that I want a manual trans and they dont have one there besides a convertible.

I'm going to keep looking around but they know what I am looking for there. If they find something at auction or something they are going to give me a call.

Well long story short but after the extensive damage to the G8 from a automated car wash I only got 15.5 for her.
