No. The new TVS blowers are very good, but discharge temps and parasitic losses are still higher than with a Lysholm, particularly as boost levels climb. If you plan on keeping boost levels low the TVS presents a compelling, inexpensive alternative to a twin screw or turbochargers. But both a Lysholm twin screw and a turbocharger are going to be more efficient than a TVS if you have the coin.

I doubt that 6.4 will put the gt500 to bed. With the challengers excess weight and horrible lateral G's it won't do anything. The gt500 handles as good if not better than the 2010 mustang Gt those numbers almost 1G of lateral grip are impressive. Unlike the challenger. So just because the 6.4 might arrive ( which I doubt now that the merger is going to go through) and add excess HP doesn't mean it will outhandle or perfo the GT500

Im impressed with these numbers. I've gone to infineon a few times now, and I can honestly say that track is, on average, .4 / 4 mph slower than the average track. Always facing the wind with the added fact that the track goes slightly uphill the whole way. 12.0's @ 118-119 will probably be where the better drivers get this GT500 to, and a couple will most likely get into the 11's.

Just the regular models the mustang is 400lbs lighter than a camaro and camaro is about 500 lighter than the chaly so the difference between mustang and chally is about 800. Even with the few hundred pounds for some of the upgrades to the GT500 the weight between it and the chally are not close
