I Do not Care if those supras have 900hp and smoke every car, their exhaust Annoys Everyone around them

I can't believe any one in there right mind would buy a Coffee can exhaust
K, your first mistake was including a civic in your example, if you were originally talking about the exhaust on a supra.
Not sure if you are aware, but they are made by two different car companies.

Strangely, people usually like the sound my engine/exhaust makes...never had anyone say they were 'annoyed.'

You put up a poor argument as to why large exhaust/mufflers/resonators are bad, so...lemme move on to another, more legitamate poster.

Logic/understanding > you.

Depends on the application.
I guess if you're refering to a Honda with a exhaust tip, then no....it doesnt improve anything.

But a larger, more free-flowing exhaust manipulates backpressure so that forced-induction engines can breath/flow better.

anyone with FI knowledge knows this.
It amazes me that some folks claim to be auto enthusiasts, and yet don't know about this.

anywho, thats why im here...to help the "less-informed."

and you're welcome!

Nice Supra! I like those cars, I see them around here kinda regularly. The interior is dated by now, but the exteriors will always be a good design. I remember when they were somewhat new thinking of how heavy they were. I guess they are relatively light by todays standards!

And that exhaust tip isn't THAT big, especially since they only run single exhaust. If it were dual tips that size, then I'd have to roll my eyes.

Keep smoking the import haters.

No offense, chief, but you shouldn't be talking smack on V8 domestics if you're only running stock twins. My T63 car has had it's ass handed to it by a heavily modded SVT Lightning, and had a modded Cobra run door-to-door with it from 40 to...enough. Any supercharged LS1, Shelby GT500, '03 Cobra, C6 Z06 or CTS-V is more than you want to mess with, and even a bone stock GTO or SRT-8 is going to be match for you on pump.

It's not 1998 anymore. 400+ rwhp domestics fall out of trees. You live in Texas; you should know this. If not, you'll find out soon enough.

+1
I agree with that, there are many cars that are just as capable. I just don't like when people are completely negative towards imports for no reason other than to hate. Ya, somethings might be a little iffy, but EVERY car has that. I mean, other than your own

To shame with some of the members here. Cut your mullets and get over yourselves.

BTW, here's a decent comparison between supra noise and civic/integra noise.

It's not PERFECT, but damn close. check some videos of supra exhaust notes and you'll see the difference between supras and civics. Btw, his Kenne bell blower sound is just as annoying as the real thing too. I'd say that's worse than a folgers can.
