yeah..... and try a coupe hundred mil for a jet..... they aren't cheap. trying to offload luggage onto another plane is just asking for something to get lost

I just don't get how airlines claim to lose money when they use old equipment, pay their pilots crap (less than $30k/year is what a friend of mine makes) and charge so much for everything. Like... do you just have awesome accountants or are you just made of fail?

its not that they're cheap.... its just it cost a crapload for a new plane..... Most planes you see flying are 20-30+ years old. Same when I worked for the railroads, most of the locomotives are atleast 10-15 years old.... still got some that are 40-50 running around.... a new locomotive cost around $2.5 mil.... and most railroads have 8-9,000 locomotives..... that's a ton of cash to hand out for an all new fleet

An all new fleet isn't necessary but for God's sake decomission some of these beaters and buy new ones, kwim? If you can't afford to do it for the safety and comfort of the people who are paying you between $300-$3000 to hitch a ride, maybe you shouldn't be in business....

doesn't matter how good they maintain the fleet..... stuff's gonna break, just look at C5 and how many people have had stuff break.... on new cars!

It's possible.. He may not have a tune or the manifold design was actually pretty efficient
