JoePa was going to retire at the end of this season anyways. He was just hanging around to get Eddie Robinson's record and he was gone.

As for Stanford, I hope either they win out or OSU does. I'd like to see one of them up against LSU in the title game and definitely not Bama.

I want to see a GREAT offense against a GREAT defense.

The offense on both sides can use work but when you have two of the top teams with both having two of the BEST defenses in the division your not gonna see the offense side of the teams shine like you would when they play OU.

I do not think there is any chance Stanford would play in the BCS NC not in the coference they play in just like TCU the past two years. However, I believe OSU has a good chance to go depending on if Alabama loses another game or even LSU. But there is still some ACC action going on as well. Either way you never know with BCS statistics! Look at Georgia they made it back in the TOP 25.

I just heard about this a little bit ago on ESPN. First off Mike McQuery needs his ass kicked! Sandusky needs to go before a firing squad and that is too humane for him that sick bastard...I am so pissed off that all this could have been stopped years ago and it was shuffled under the rug by a bunch of money hungry cowards!!

Heads need to roll at state from top to bottom with prison time involved in most cases. Most people are forgetting about the kids here, who gives a crap about JoePa`s record and the reputation of Penn State!...this " ABOUT THE KIDS!"

And Stanford is in an AQ conference, Boise and TCU aren't. Big difference. If Boise had been in the Pac 12 they'd have been in a couple BCS CGs already. (of course, only if they were undefeated, which they probably wouldn't have been)

And say what you want, LSUs offense SUCKS. Not even in the top 90.

And don't give me that 'Because they are in the SEC' crap. Go look (cause I did) at the games. LSU did MUCH better against the SEC this year than they did out of conference.

You know I listen to ESPN Radio Dallas this morning and they kept saying all people are talking about is how many people are speaking of the $$$$$ the LSU/Bama game brought in for television viewing.

Lets get real you know and I know its very likely for Okie St to Win out and then go into the OU game undefeated. OU is without Broyles and a few others however yes there are pleanty of other WR's and recruits on that staff.
Okie St has a better chance of winning right now with the down players the really big thing they still have against them its in Norman.

IF OKie st wins out and beats OU I bet Bama will jump OKie St and Standford and Boise St.

Everyone is saying with OU losing players and the Game ( tech ) they already lost they are not considered a strong team in BCS rankings so if Okie St wins it wont have a huge impact like we think it will. It would take okie St to give some Bob stoops like Style points and we know that wont happen.

LSU vs OU in the 2003 game did not bring in the money that LSU vs USC and especially OU vs USC would have.

I'll bet my house that an undefeated Okie St. can not be jumped by Bama. The Big12 has a tougher out of conference schedule than the SEC. Conference wins and losses don't effect the numbers. It's the out of conference that does.

It was the SEC who was the team left out when OU and USC played. Auburn was undefeated.

I believe the BCS formula is what it is. I don't believe that it's tinkered with for money. Not in season anyway.

There is no way Bama is going to jump OSU if OSU finishes undefeated. OSU has #7 OU left while Bama has #24 AU left, who might not even be ranked by the time they play them. Stanford has #6 Oregon this weekend and if they win they should move up to the #3 spot. Once there I highly doubt Bama will move ahead of them if they stay undefeated.
