West Virginia? Really? That's a strange choice. Geographically, they're not even close...

**** it.

I still have the NFL.

So, to the next person who argues to me that College is better than the NFL because in the NFL it's all about the money............. THAT argument is void.

This sucks to me.

So what about Missouri? Are they in the SEC officialy. If not, we need to kick their asses out.

I'm totaly pissed over this.

The article said because of the football strength and basketball making the tourny the last few years......IDK...this college realignment is getting crazy...Last week did not help WV with its loss to Syracuse.

Supposedly the SEC is waiting on legal issues with Missouri.......I would rather have Clemson...they have a natural rivalary with South Carolina, would fit in in the east division and be geographically better....but who knows.

I think the Big12 should take UH. With TCU coming back it could be like the old SWC days.

I would be totally shocked if ND entertained the idea of joining the Big12.

Home field advantage is usually worth 2-4 points so that makes them even on a neutral field.

LSU has the edge on offense and let's say a push on defense. LSU wins this game by 11.

I was just talking about the same thing to a friend of mine about UH and Tulsa both of those would be a perfect fit. Also SMU for gawds sake lets try to keep it regional!

Dont really see either team winning by 11.....

If you look at the games this year that LSU has played they have not been exactly lighting it up on offense...sure the margin of victory has been pretty but usually they have struggled ie....6-3 ve Miss St at half.

The last time LSU played at Bryant Denny LSU players fell out in the 4th qtr trying to slow down Alabama's defense and this defense is even better. LSU has won with talent thus far but I think experience couple with talent will be the factor and LSU defense does not have alot of experience on it at ths point.

You will tell alot about this game in the first 10 minutes......I fully expect LSU to come out with some wacky plays and go for broke...if it works then Alabama may have some troubles but if Alabama stops their trick plays then it will be a long day for LSU. Watch to see if LSU has to call times outs early in the half.....may come back to haunt them.

University of Houston? Really? Why would you want to add a high school football team to the Big XII

Mizzou clearly isnt thinking this one out. They thrive off of the Texas HS market for players and there basketball team usually does a little more than there football team.

What about the GREAT KU/MU Rivalry

and of course look who there fans blame since there leaving

PQ you're right where has college football gone ? I wish these idiots in the world would quit hiding behind the omg TEXAS is tearing apart the Big12 and admitt folks are leaving for more money.

amazing we are all getting along and making equal money now.

AND TO THINK ALL OF THIS STAYING TOGETHER STARTED WITH MU

I have not kept up with them this year but last year they had a pretty decent season, and who knows jumping into the Big 12 would help there recruiting base and fan base to have a jump in revenue...cannot be any worse than Kansas right now.

It just seems the COOL thing to do now is switch conference. Long term they will be wishing they had not jumped so quickly.

Maybe. They will definitely be cellar dwellers in the SEC, but it isn't about winning to them. If it were about winning then the Big 12 north should have been the place ANYONE would want to be. That division had been up for grabs for 12 years. A good team could be in the Big 12 CG 4 out of 5 years. If OU had been in the Big 12 North I think they would have been in the Big12 CG every year since 2000.

Nebraska isn't about winning. They are about money. Same with Arkansas, Missou, Colo. And any other team like that. Yo think West Virginia believes they can win in the Big12? No. It's just their best option for money.
