Yes, it's still good. Even without the Laguna Seca package, it's only a hair slower than the GT500 and is able to rev much higher.
Even so, if I had a choice I'd go with the GT500. The Boss isn't available with leather or electronically adjustable seats (the perfect seating position for me always seems to be right between the manually adjustable positions), so the Shelby is a bit faster and a better daily driver as well. |

all the HYPE about the Boss is True.
I've got to drive one w/o the Laguna Seca packages and all I can tell is that it was AWSOME!!!!! I've drove a 2011 GT500 with the SVT package it was badass to but I would take the Boss than the GT500. I would trade my car for a Boss in a heart beat! |

Not my cup of tea, as I like leather and all that, but for what it is, the Boss is, well Boss

Can you order a Boss with rear seat delete? I swear the one I saw didn't have a rear seat.
Yes it was a regular Boss, white with black stripes. Sticker $43,000 and some change.

the Laguna Seca has an x brace where the rear seats usually are. You sure it wasn't a LS?

All things considered, the 5.0 is probably a better buy than the Boss 302, as great a car as the Boss is. You could find a 5.0 for $31,000 or less, while the Boss 302 will be $46,000+, even at MSRP, once you factor in taxes, etc. You can bolt on that 40 whp for $1500-2000.

I think what makes the Boss good is that its a race car for a fair price under warranty. I cant think of many other cars you can get that with.
