Hint: It has two meanings (that come to my pointy little head). Without giving 'em away, let's state that it can be used in the kitchen, yum, or it could have been used by men during Medieval Times. Ouch!

whim = a moment of quick decision, reflex, or impulse.
and the original definition of "mace" (indicating ball at end of chain) actually defined better a flail. A mace basically being a metal, headed club (with or without spikes). But I know ... way too picky. new word: "falchion" |

I take it that your "falchion" is a weapon, but is it a real artifact from conflict, or is it a fantasy weapon known only to aficionados of the sci-fi fantasy genre of fiction? If so, you have effectively cut me out of the game.
By the way, the studded ball on a chain attached to a handle was called a "morning star"... For your word, "falchion", the best I can manage is that it might resemble the bird of prey, falcon. And that it might be hand-held. Am I on track? |

Morningstars generally were similar to maces (but had spikes, or a spiked ball on the end of a handle of either wood or metal). As a kid, I was fascinated with Middle Ages weaponry and armor ... still am I suppose! ![]() You were close enough, Ivas. Your word! |

Oooh, I know this. A halberd is a weapon, a long stick with an axe head on it if I remember correctly from the trashy medieval romance novels of my collegiate days

I dont know how to describe it, but it is an adjective used by people whom are "under an influence" to describe how they feel. Can also be used to describe an environment. Usually is used in reference to drugs, such as LSD.
"Typhoon" |
