I don't react to idiots around me. I drive my car how I like, if some ricer or prius passes me it doesn't mean a thing. Good way to get a ticket for no reason. How would you feel pulled over by a cop on the side of the road while the prius goes by.....just sayin.

Why is it when I go to pass, legally, another vehicle like a prius they suddenly find the need to prove their vehicle CAN exceed 60mph? Like I will ever move "too slowly" for anyone who happens to travel behind me?? I refuse to behave like a dick and cut anyone off as that's just asking for trouble.

If I identify an a$$hat weaving and threading the needle in traffic clearly being a menace to other drivers...you bet your buttoski I'm transforming into a mobile roadblock while getting state police on the line . Here in MD the sheer number of miscreants flogging sh$tboxes at 100+ in decrepit or unfit cars (usually with a donut spare on 1 or more wheels) is staggering.

I have to agree, if the Prius was trying to illegally pass because it was a double yellow and he was being an ass... then give him a full blast and make him drop a brown egg in his pants...

But instead, If you are driving slow enough in a legal passing zone that a Prius has to actually pass you, that is just flat out embarrassing and that is why OP reacted the way he did..essentially placing someone in a very dangerous situation. This is why eco-box owners keep approaching me with smart ass remarks because they have a pre-existing notion of what we, as muscle car drivers, are...

First off I don't go to Disney and I laughed at the story also.

Secondly If the OP was going slow enough for a Prius to pass him that is super embarrassing and it warrants him selling his Camaro for a Ford Fiesta or Prius himself.

It doesn't warrant him possibly putting someone in danger though if he was doing it legally and I don't understand why people are praising him for it. I'm sure if the story went "A prius tried to pass me, I blocked him from doing it because I'm so cool, then a Chevy Silverado hit the prius at 80mph and killed him and his family because I didn't let him pass" people wouldn't be over here laughing and saying good job.

And I'm not saying this because I'm old and don't know how to enjoy cars or anything. I'm pretty sure no one loves Empty two lane roads as much as me

The original post and most of the responses on this thread are exactly why this site is in a downward spiral to the shitter...

1. OP, you **** blocked a Prius, so what. I probably would have done it too bc most Prius owners are DBs anyhow but I wouldn't feel the need to jump online and gloat about it. It's not that impressive.

2. It's not street racing people think EVERYTHING is street racing if you press the accelerator.

3. To the guy from MD that "roadblocks and gets the police on the line". You my friend are a jerkoff. You're not a cop, don't try to be one. All you're going to do is piss the kid off even more, endangering yourself. Let him go. Stay as far away from him as you can.

There are plenty more reasons why this is a pointless thread. I miss the old Camaro5 where there was actually good threads and stuff to learn but as with any "new model" that's been out for over 2 years, nothing much new to learn. Everyone has been there/done that.

I thought it was a funny story! I'm sure the OP was moving along at a safe speed, probably not crawling, and the jack ass in the Prius thought he'd make a scene and try to overtake the OP. The OP jolted his Camaro a bit to put the Prius driver in their place; it's not street racing, it's not dangerous, it's not immature. I would be shocked if during this entire story either driver was going 10mph over the speed limit, which is what most drivers do on a daily basis. Relax everybody, you all talk like you bought a sports car but drive like an angel, nobody believes that!
