Passed by a Prius?

Quick story:

Scene set up: Headed to the beach today with my wife and son. On a 2 lane road in Maryland a Prius tries to overtake to the left. I notice and goose the throttle while downshifting for some added noise.

Wife: "Now why would you go and do something like that for?"

Me: "Well, he needed to be reminded of natural order of things."

Wife: "What are you talking about?"

Me: "Japanese hybrids never get to overtake an American V-8"

I get all sorts of cars trying to pass me, I just keep pace, and as they get by I look over, wave, and smile. My passing another on the highway, or city streets in a racing situation yields me no benefit whatsoever, but does have a whole wealth of consequence. So no thanks to that.

if you have a prius..you shud just drive slow n steady..if you wanna drive fast why invest in a prius? haha

flies under the radar when passing cops, where as the camaro is a big fat beacon on the screen.

If there wasn't a passing lane on that road and the Prius was trying to illegally pass you because he was impatient/to show off, then cool story.

If there was a passing lane and you were driving slow enough to warrant the Prius passing you then you just did an ass-hole move and could have possibly put the Prius in a dangerous situation if someone driving at 100mph came from the other lane and hit the Prius head on because he couldn't pass you, just because you think your Camaro is hot stuff.

Sorry but had to call it how I see it.

I have an 08 Toyota Yaris. Great on gas and that's about it. Now that I have the Camaro, I am getting new plates on the Toyota. WAIT4ME

Just make sure you're driving carefully and endangering nobody.

On my end of things, the "Prii" (anyone else hate that?) are always the ones in the right lane going 50 or under. I can zoom by them as if I'm doing 200mph when I'm doing 65 or 70. Sure, they're getting 45-50mpg, but they'll get where they're going in 6 hours instead of 15 minutes.

If you get it you get it - if not then, look up what a parable is.....if you still don't get it......look up the words that define parable......if you still don't get it don't worry, you'll probably be cutting me off by passing me on a two lane road tomorrow on your way to church.
