Don't know if you're still in Wisconsin, but if you get the chance, slide over to Nicolet, MN, a little town about 90 miles WSW of Minneapolis, and go to Schmidts's Meat Market. Their Summer Sausage is THEEEE Best. They also ship some of their products. Whenever I'm back in MN, I stop in, buy a bunch of meat, stuff it in a cooler and take it as carry-on on the plane home. Yummy. Seriously. Check 'em out. Seriously.

I ended up going southwest, I'll put it on my map tho in case I ever get close. I don't usually pay 6 bucks for a pound of sausage but it was pretty good, and with the cheese it was amazing!

Those tan lines are left over from the worst sunburn EVER - in Chile, last December. Yup, 9 months ago! But here, in August, they look pretty good!

I just can't catch a break....
In April, Ladybug was sideswiped. May, my friend from high school passed away. July, my mom-in-law passed away, and my cat (Caesar) was sick and cost $$$ to treat. August, I damaged Ladybug's hood (getting fixed Monday), and now, my dog (Axel) has a tumor on his leg. I should have results on Monday to find out how bad it is and how much it will cost to remove. Sigh......
They say bad things happen in 3's - I'm at 6 now, just since April. It can stop anytime now...
On the upside, it's a beautiful sunny day here in the great PNW. Going to get my hair done today, and my hubby's taking my stepson to the Seahawks game tonight, so I'll have the house to myself. Maybe I'll grab some popcorn and crawl into bed early and watch a good chick flick.
