Louisiana folks know that you don't ask someone to "Come here" you ask them to "Come see". I still catch hell for it now that I'm in Texas.

We don't put things "away" put put them "up". Same thing with your room...it's not go clean up your room, it's "go pick up your room".

When you go make groceries (shopping) do you push a basket, buggy, or a cart? "Go make groceries" still cracks me up.

I'm sure I'll add a mess more to this list!

Pass the beans, please = Rather standard, but this includes green or black-eyed peas. Really.

Tea = Sweet Iced Tea. Down here there is really no other kind. Ask for "tea" when you go out for dinner, and by default you're likely to get sweet iced tea. It has been getting more where they have the unsweet and hot tea options, though. Messes me up when we go up north and even if you ASK for sweet tea, you get that "WTF look".

Somebody's got to use them if New England can't right?
We drop 'em (and by 'we' I mean not including me ), NY picks 'em up.

Yeah, orange pop was orange Kool-aid where I'm from. "pop" should mean no carbonation.

The carbonation is what gives those drinks their 'pop' though ... otherwise its just some sort of sugary flavoured water, like Kool-aid. I don't understand how 'soda' applies to carbonated drinks
