So, been offline for a while since being stuck in the middle-of-nowhere Afghanistan!! Still stuck here, but finally found a place I can get online!! Good news about being "stuck" somewhere is my mission here is complete so all the time I have is free time which = more time at the gym!!!

Also wanted to share some BIG NEWS with you all!! I decided to enter the bodybuilding.com military challenge!!! It is a 12 week program and I intend to start on Aug 1st. Here is a little snidbit about the challenge:

"There will be one male first place winner and one female first place winner chosen from each branch of the military (U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marines and U.S. Coast Guard) — each first place winner (other than those selected as Grand Prize Winners) will receive a $350 store credit to Bodybuilding.com and Prize bag (net value $100). The winner(s) of each respective military branch will then compete for the Grand Prize and Title "Bodybuilding.com Military Spokesperson of the Year" with the selection of one (1) male winner and one (1) female winner ("Grand Prize Winners"). Grand prize winners will receive a $1,800 store credit to Bodybuilding.com, StayFit Package, online feature on Bodybuilding.com and a professional photo shoot. The winners will be announced by November 28th, 2011.

The judges will choose winners based on: best body definition and physical attributes at the Challenge Completion Date, Entrants written summary describing Entrant's training, supplement regimen, how Entrant achieved their Military Challenge goals and why Entrant would be the best Military Spokesperson and motivate others.

Also, don't miss a chance to be one of our weekly winners! Each week we'll give a prize worth up to $150 retail value to an active member of our BodyGroup! "

I figure if nothing else, this challenge will help keep me motivated and focused on my goals!!! Wish me luck!!!

I have lost about 50 lbs now!

I'm still around. Still doing my thing. Got some kind of ear thing (virus or something). Doc put me on Prednisone (steroid) and said I'd feel like a million bucks while taking it (40mgs daily) and holy cow. I wish I could feel like this all the time.

Other than that still hovering in the 6-8% BF range depending on how the monitor wants to read that particular day.

Still eating clean and hitting 5 days of cardio and 3 days of weights.

Thanks Bonnie! My booty (and thighs) need lots of work!! You will have to share your "booty focus" program with me when you get it.

I've been in the process of moving in to the new house the past two weeks. I took these two weeks off work, and due to all the moving, etc, I've also been off from the gym.

I'm bad about getting in to projects and forgetting to eat, so my caloric intake has been way down. I've lost about 6 pounds in the past two weeks, so that wasn't necessarily a bad thing.

I'll be getting back in to my normal routine starting Monday, but not living next door to the gym anymore means I'll only be doing 3 days of cardio instead of 5. I may do some walking or something around the neighborhood though.

Today's my last day of vacation, and honestly I'm ready to get back to work. I'm so sick of unpacking and trying to get the house organized (and spending money SHEESH).

On a positive note, I'll be heading over to get my Challenger out of storage in about an hour and get it ready for the cruise tonight. FINALLY!

Hey Donna - I can definitely tell you've been working hard.....good job! I'm sure you're feeling really happy with your results........

Bonnie - I need some advice on "booty focus" too, however BodyPump and BodySculpt at the gym have been helping. I just have natural "junk in the trunk" even when I'm skinny......

Well we can see who's been workin' hard. Looking real good. I know your backside is an issue for you but there has been major improvement, it will come if you keep at it.

On a side note, I am still working out as always but now and then you've gotta make sure you're not going backwards SO I had to test mysef. When I was younger I used to pick up the back end of small cars just to show off so for the heck of it I attacked a MG that came into my shop a couple of days ago, my son's eyes almost popped out of his head, he didn't think his OLD MAN could do it, ha ha. Maybe I'll move on to something a bit bigger, didn't even break a sweat.
