I can't believe you don't like Downward Dog...it is one of my favorites (by far my real favorites are child's pose and corpse!!! Bwahahaha!!!!). The CROW can BITE ME!!!! Haha, I reckon if you and PQ dig it

I won't let my gal cut her hair. Just my thing I guess, but it's gotta be LONG. I even tell her hair dresser she better just "trim" as little as possible of I'll come in and make a scene!

5/23/11 - 158.5 - 8.4%

DANG IT, now I'm stuck at 8%!!! Time for some starvation I guess.

I was easy on the carbs last week and loaded up at a meal yesterday and lunch and a few more at dinner. Muscles were noticeably more "full" looking this morning than yesterday morning. I don't think that's just in my head but who knows. Do carbs react that fast to re-inflating your muscles after being on low carbs a few days?

I pushed the same weights this week as last, but managed an extra rep or two on each exercise so strength is still going in the right direction which I take to mean I'm not losing any muscle mass. Abs are really showing now and I've got a defined 6 pack.

I was shooting for 6%, but may stop at 7%. I don't wanna start looking "too" thin.

Bad news is my pants and shorts aren't fitting anymore. I can take them off an on without unbuttoning them. I hate wearing belts but I'm too cheap to go try and find new clothes.

I'm about to have some of Bonnie's Taco Chili for lunch. I think it's still good from the batch I made early last week...smells ok anyway...guess I'll find out hahaha.

<OFF TOPIC>

I'm posting this here since there's quite a few gals in this thread.

I had a friend (girl but not girlfriend ya know?) tell me I'm damaged goods because I don't ever want to have kids. WTH? I've seen too many friends go through very nasty divorces (I'd like to keep my hot rods and my house thank you very much) where kids are involved and it spooked the hell outta me, and I'm getting too old anyway...but damaged goods? Seriously?

I won't say anything about damaged goods! Too bad, kids are really a blessing.

Anyhow, back to the topic...

I am 2/3 of the way to my goal and losing 1# a week, or sometimes more!

Healthy eating, exercise and health attitude....goes a long way! I hope I'm to my goal before then, but end of July, if not earlier.

Yes, your muscles will absorb carbs like a wet sponge. A practice amongst bodybuilders is to restrict carbs for a period and then eat a healthy dose 1 or 2 days before competition to fill up their muscles

Wow, that's great, slow steady weight loss is the best way and will most likely be perminent if you keep it up.
