Give me the Camaro and 30 grand in mods any day, not that I don't think the caddy isn't sweet, but I just about have that much in my car and the CTS-V can't come close in performance . And it's a better looking car.

I would say do it if you think you can swing it. It's a rare model, very fast, and very nicely finished on the inside. Just saw a wagon V the other day and had to stop to take a pic. The driver gave me a thumbs up for my Camaro, and I did the same for his V. Here's a pic.

I became impatient waiting for Chevy to bring the ZL1 to market and pulled the trigger on a 2010 V sedan a little over a year ago... and I guess I'd still have a bit of a wait.
After living with this fantastic car for over a year, I don't have a single regret and it continues to amaze!
The car definitely needs to be driven on a track in order to appreciate its capabilities!

Best regards,

Elie

Goes like crazy but kind of awkward looking other than looking at one straight on. I might be in the minority but not a fan of the look.

I 100% agree with you right up until the point that you are looking from the inside of the Panamera. Then things look a lot different. For the money though, unless you need AWD, Caddy is the hands down winner in that race.

Consider the price difference however. You can get a CTS-V coupe for around $65,000. What Porsche can you get for the same? A Porsche Cayman S.

To get a Porsche full size with comperable power (556 HP) you would need to spend $173,000. That would be a Porsche Panamara Turbo S (550 HP)

So...you're getting comperable speed, power and comfort for around a third of the price.

Yeah the "resale" on a CTSV to a Porsche will be less, but then again..you're paying a hell of a lot less.

CTS-V Coupe for the epic win!
