easily....just wish we could get these things to rev higher thats what is killing us....needs lighter flywheels blah blah blah grrrrrrr germans know how to do it

can't you tune the rev limiter higher? I wouldn't recommend going 9k rpm all the time, but i'm sure once in a while it's ok.

well, other v6's have found a tablespoon or more oil in just 1k miles driving theirs. i've put on about that many miles myself since i put the can on.

you can go past the redline but you dont make anything so whats the point?

yeah at about 6400 it starts to drop the max hp is at 5600-5700 so 700rpm after that is your shift point to improve average hp thus the redline and no reason you should have the rev limiter off...just shuts off fuel so not to damage the engine..gm knows what they are doing and the limits.
