serious question. is the VF commodore full sized, as in "crown victoria big", or is it only g8 "big"?? it would be cool if gm had real full sized vehicle in their stable. of course theyd still have to redesign the commodore for me to consider driving one, those things look like volvos. ive been waiting since 1996 for them to bring back the impala ss

They did, the 07ish 5.3L Impala SS beats the old 96 in everything performance related and owners who have both agree the 07 is a better car.

LOL this previous owner doesnt agree its a better car. Impalas are supposed to be full sized performance. can you post info on where it says its unanimous that the previous owners agreed that they like the FWD smaller mid-sized impalas better??? Im still a part of my old impala message board and they CERTAINLY dont agree there......

Um, it could outhandle the OLD Charger, not the new one. it was still 4100 pounds plus, and at this point it is no longer made...... One could say survival of the fittest.....
