Percieved quality issue in the form of every dodge owner I know having their car crap out on them at random intervals with no warning even with regular maintenance, most often resulting in very expensive repairs due to the lack of warranty. The dodges don't do well IMO, of course I am but one man on a camaro forum but I've read review after review online of these so called "proffessional car reviewers" stating the same thing. Less car you say? Camaro's are king as far as sales, and sexiness go. Don't believe me? I dare you to check out the numbers posted in these forums. I myself test drove a challenger shortly before purchasing my SS, and less is definetely MORE in this case.

I did make them comparible, all V8 engines with 6 speed transmissions. All with leather, all with premium sound (2ss) and summer tires and wheels. Go see for yourself their chief before you "spout" your nonesense.

But not options for optiion, just a hint though, that is not even possible with an SS because SRT8 comes with a HUGE number of things standard the SS does not even offer.

![]() My mother has never owned a Durango, you must have me mistaken for another forum member. I suppose I should have stipulated that dodge trucks as far as I know do alright, but the dakota is one of the worst reviewed vehicles since the aztek. The rest of the cars you mentioned were Jeeps and Crysler...not Dodge, just like Cadillac and Chevy aren't the same entity. Jeeps btw are some of my favorite vehicles actually and all the people I know that have owned them have no complaints. And I don't know anybody with a crysler that isn't a PT cruiser and yeah most of them sit in the driveway due to mechanical issues.

Come on people isn't it obvious that these magazine's simply place what ever is the latest and greatest performance cars for a comparison test. They have been doing it for years and doesn't always mean its going to be an exact comparison . Its just what ever new car's they have in their stable which are press cars on loan sometime for only a few hours. If they had to wait for next to perfect compros then they would rarely have something to write about. I have a GT500 and it doesn't bother me one bit when they put it in a compro with a AWD GT-R or a ZO6 carbon because its all good in my book since they give its highs and lows and a cool video and magazine about your car to boot. Why do some of you people get so freaking upset when these magazine feature your car? My car's capabilities far out weigh mine so until then I'm the only to blame if it doesn't perform well.

Depends on your priorities. the lightweight ALCOA SRT specific wheels, pushbutton stoart, proximity entry, available NAV, a bit more but it is time to go home. As for pricing here is a matchup a did a few months ago, i will quuote it here from the other post.

its not that the dodge is overpriced, because it not. its that it doesnt come in a basic base model with the 392 engine to compete in the lower price ranges that the other two competitors do.

My car is a 07 with 67k miles, and was torn down @ around 20k for the cam install. Only thing that I have used my EXTENDED warranty for is broken axles (cammed, stalled, nitrous, and slicks will do that) and a couple blown ps pumps due to donuts...ps pumps are made by mitsubishi not dodge btw...and i promise you there arent very many ppl in this WORLD that puts a car through as much torture as i do.
