Turned around and got up at 5AM this morning, again donned full combat gear and spent half the day on the range shooting the M9, had lunch, then the rest of the day was spent learning about foreign weapons like the AK-47 etc. My body is in total shut-down mode...no work out yesterday and it is so not happening today!!! I can barely keep my eyes open right now! But a good workout is on the docket for tomorrow for sure!!
Perhaps not traditional but I think the last wo days qualify as a workout

Oh c'mon soldier! When I was in the Corps we'd do that for 5 days at a time with NO sleep whatsoever.

They did keep telling us to drink water from a certain water buffalo though hmmmmmmmmmm

I'm running on nothing but energy drinks and 3 hours of sleep right now.
I still have 4 hours left in the day.

Maybe that is my problem...I don't do energy drinks (other than coffee or a diet coke). Hope yours last for the next 4 hrs!

I'm rnot sure if it's going to be fun from my standpoint, I'm an old guy competeing against young studs. Come Monday and I'm done wearing this heart monitor I'll be ready to go, so I'm psyched, it's been too long.

Well, it is a good competition to help keep everyone motivated AND it is to be judged on progress so I think you have just as good chance as anyone else!

I think there needs to be some rules put out though

....like in how many days do we judge? Oh and I don't think it would be fair for someone to use their "start" photo using a photo that they took 3 months ago and then show progress pics 90 days from now because then of course they would have more progress because they had more time to work on it! So, I think everyone should submit a start photo as of a certain day showing the newspaper so no one can cheat and then again at the end of the time frame that is decided on. What do you all think?

I think we mentioned six weeks from this coming Monday. I posted my start photo yesterday, Monday my monitor comes off so that's when I'll be starting full workouts again.

Ya'll just lemme know what you need from me. That photo I posted earlier was taken the day I posted it so that can be mine or I can take a new one Monday. No biggie.

SSMOKINHOT, I was also 19 years old when I was in the Marines going for days on end without sleep....I'm sure that helped as I don't think I could do that today.

I remember my muscles feeling fatigued but never sleepy. Ah, the joys of youth.

Did 1,100 calories in one hour working legs today. First time I've had someone take notice at the gym that I was really busting my ass. Now THAT made me feel good.

Oh hell no!!! >>> I LOVE STEAK!!! Best food on planet! My wife makes the absolute BEST steaks I've ever had. Prime Rib, Porterhouse T-Bones....ugh....LOVE IT.

dude...those energy drinks are going to kill you...21 year old had a heart attack from those after drinking two to three red bulls a day. So I hear.....(here in town)...and then here I am drinking two of the blue Monster energy drinks a day. Dude...my chest started hurting non-stop. I finally sat there wondering and actually got kinda scared. I was drinking two a day for a good 6 months. I haven't had one in over a year now. NO more chest pains. Dude, that was scary....never again...
