I also like the Amber series by Roger Zelazney, and the Song of Ice and Fire series by George R. R. Martin. I'm also up for anything by Piers Anthony.

HBO is supposed to have a series coming out based on Song of Ice and Fire, and I'm looking forward to it.

Those books were very good. I kept getting attached to a character and he'd kill him/her off.

I really enjoyed the Left Behind series. Couldn't put the books down once I picked them up.

Haha! I started reading them back in high school when they were first coming out. Haven't actually had a chance to finish the series yet (made it through Feast for Crows, then ran out of time for reading when I started college) though.

The end is going to blow your mind. If you need any other good Orson Scott Card books after, shoot me a PM, I've read almost all of them.

Some good books here people, keep 'em comin'. I am going to the book store this afternoon to check a few of these out.

I have to read technical mombo jumbo all day so I'm all read out at the end of the day. Plus I don't have the attention span for reading novels. That's why I wait for it to come out in movies. Love Steven King... Maximum Overdrive it one of my all time favorites.

I couldn't tell you how the book was though. My wife is a freak'en book worm. Every time we watch a movie, she always say "The book was better." or "They left this or that out"
I must say though when we went to see the Lord Of The Rings ,if she wouldn't have explained the Hobbit to me I wouldn't have had no Idea what that movie was about.

Edit: I did read " Box Car Willie" though and "The Catcher and the Rye" ,but who hasn't.
