They are guessing and considering they were way off on the Chargers base price......

Anyways, 43100 as I stated previously plus 1400 for gg tax (which i am sure is a guess as that was last years and this years SRT will get much improved fuel mileage, and the fact that dodge has not stated the amt or which ones would even have a gas tax) plus 80 for 3 season tires and there you have the 44880.
so with tax and license 48000-49000

basically, but like I said a like optioned Mustang GT and thogh an ss comes in at 40k, it lacks a lot features of the Challenger and Mustang, it is basically a matter of what you want ing the car and which you like best

I never disagreed with that though. For a few grand more you get a larger more exclusive car that is also (or should be) faster. The decision for an wrt challenger cannot be made strictly based on performance though. The other variables makes it a better car or worse car depending on the drivers wants and needs.

An optioned Mustang GT doesn't come anywhere close to 48-49k.

Both the SS and GT max out at like $43K.

The Challenger is set to start at 43100, which was the point. The 48-49 is supposed to be with TTL, which ttl would not be cheaper on a Camaro or Mustang.

Well, yes, you have to decide which one fits you best, but with speed, the quickest 392 time so far matches the quickest Mustang GT time and exceeds the fastest Camaro time, though i can't wait to see what owners get when they are in their hands. Also, on the GT500 it is basically 47000 for starters. They aredoing another early model year start for the 12s though and the base GT500 price is jumping to to around 49300 and will be only slightly after the 11 Challenger debuts..

whoever is debating base price of the mustang to the challenger is missing the point.

Remember, one has already ran a 12.4 (automatic vs the other 6 speed) and also, as far as price, if you option out a Camaro even close to what the SRT comes with feature wise (given you can't because the SS just doesn't offer all the features of the SRT), you are basically at 40 grand, same with the Mustang.
Uhm 45 grand price tag usually hitting 48? Sorry bud save that for later I would just got the extra yard at that point and buy a ZL1 or GT500 that's about the price difference. It's the same between a GT to SRT8 and a SRT8 to GT500
