I wonder what all these refineries in NorCal and SoCal are doing on daily basis? I always thought they were producing fuel for the Western US.
Google Map - Richmond, Benecia, Wilmington, El Segundo, Torrance and see what those big huge tanks and equipment are.

It works like this: You provide, we buy. Your government is handing out healthcare and social programs, so they tax the hell out of your gas to pay for it all. Same thing in Europe. Hell, in Europe they tax the DISPLACEMENT of the engine in your car. (SHHH...it will be on our continent soon) This is the key: They tax YOU because they can. If the people paying the taxes ever wake up, Egypt and Libya's uprisings will be just the start.

they have been brain washing us for years.anyone remember the, "we are almost out of natral gas"? so they started building all electric houses.they will put gasoline at $4 a gallon,then drop it to $3.50 and we will say OH WHAT A DEAL. political brain washing.

Premium is already up there here in Queens. Even when I travel to Jerz which has no tax, I still get upset cause premium is slowly creeping up higher and higher....the camaro may not leave the yard this summer.

Yes they are refining oil into fuel. Where do they get the oil from. The large pipelines that run south from canada with our unrefined oil. Man are you SMRT. You guys get our natural gas, oil, and water from us and most of you do not even realize how much our countries depend on each other.

In the summer of 08 i was paying 1.50/L or in your terms $5.67/Us,gallon. Did it stop me from going to the lake and paying $300 to fill the boat and caddy no way.

in 2008 i bought a 400cc suzuki burgman scooter to do my commute in rather than my truck. the suzuki burgman ran up to 100 mph safely on major highways and wasn't too bad to own. my daily commute went from $25 a day to $6 a day which saved me 400.00 a month and in a year nearly 5 grand. food for thought.
