hopefully the tuners will be able to alter both tunes. so you can have an aggressive off-road tune when wanted.
thats what i was thinking, 100 octane tune and 91octane tune both available with a switch of the key! Shoot maybe even have the red key also activate electric cutouts or something like that!

Here's a couple more first drive reviews:

This is the best Mustang ever, IMHO. Weekend track car and killer street car all in one package. I can't wait to see some instrumented testing and numbers.

When does the Boss go on sale? No, I am not getting one, but the 1970 Boss 302 has always been one of my favorite cars and this coming back out is just AWESOME!! Any idea of MSRP?

$40,995 for the base Boss

$47,990 for the Laguna Seca

They're on sale now.

No, they're not bypasses. They have re-stricter plates from the factory that can be removed or replaced by electric valves to enhance the sound.

From the Edmunds article:

"All Boss 302 Mustangs are fitted with quad exhaust outlets, two of which exit in front of the rear wheels and two of which exit under the rear valence. And even with the side pipes largely corked up from the factory (there's a 0.625-inch pass-through inside), the 5.0-liter makes a sound at redline like God's own piston-powered orchestra."

The color combos are shocking because its a race car and they wanted it to look flashy on the track and look different then the other mustangs on the track. I also don't care for the flashy Boss color combos also but that's because I don't like flashy look at me sort of cars. I think they will look bad ass and right at home on a race track and I would take a 302 LS in a heartbeat and leave it stock if it was given to me but you wont see me painting my wheels and roof a different color any time soon. I saw the blue and white one in person and it look really nice up close and in person.
