Thanks all. Here are my views for what they are worth. Sometimes it's all about accountability and motivation. Being on a forum like this helps keep you motivated and accountable to the others here, the thing is more importantly you MUST HOLD YOURSELF ACCOUNTABLE TO YOU. There is a reason for my gym being where it is, I used to workout in my basement but you know the saying "out of sight out of mind". That room as attached to my kitchen and familly room, I cannot sit and watch tv or eat or do anything else without it being under my nose, it beckons me like a Siren in the night. I cannot make invalid excuses for not working out when it's at my finger tips, if I miss a workout believe me it's for a REAL reason. After two days of working out and my day off shoveling outrageous amounts of snow I made up my mind to take today off untill I walk by that friggin' room and the guilt sets in, yes I did my workout today, it plain ol' sucked,I'm burnt, I'm beyond soar I'm in pain, I missed a few reps here and there but I DID IT. I HELD MYSELF ACCOUNTABLE. It's not easy nor are the goals most here have set forth but this is what it takes Hold youselfs accountable and YOU WILL NOT FAIL.

I found surrounding myself with positive reinforcement really helps...I especially like posting motivational quotes EVERYWHERE!!! I also post them on my FB status and have helped motivate other people!! Yesterday's FB status = I hated every minute of training, but I said, "Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion" - Muhammad Ali

An old picture of me in a bikini on the fridge helps too!! Makes me think when I go to open the fridge, am I really hungry or am I just bored or thirsty?

That is what it takes, you don't need a gym or have to work out as intensely as some of us here, believe me, to have a body like Bonnie and badgebunny or Metallacide and hrpiii and others who live this same life style takes hard work and dedication and it does not happen overnight just like you won't loose fat over night but if you find YOUR reason and method to keep you motivated as ssmokinhot has done you will succeed.

I agree, an old picture of you in a bikini on my fridge would help me also. How does one go about getting that said photo for me to put on my fridge.

For all of you who have a hard time eating multiple meals during the day try to eat something good remember eating more but healthy speeds up the metabolism and helps Burn what you dont want.
I will have to agree with the others. Body Pump is my main workout too. It works all the major muscle groups in one hour, with warm up, cool down and abs. I like the music too. It's really efficient. I go 3 times a week then 3 alternate days cardio. This week it was shoveling snow.

This is probably a one time thing. Georgia doesn't get this much snow very often, 1993 was the last time I remember it snowing like this.

Friday. Reporting day. Down 6 more for a total of 10. Only 3 beers in the past 12 days. No after dinner snacking unless healthy food. All is going well. Thanks again Becky for getting everyone started and motivated.
