New Englands coach does know how to work a draft! I love how they always seem to have two picks in the first round to work with! They're always in such a great position to control the draft in a manner that suits them! They do know what they are doing! I hate to compliment 'em, 'cause Miami is my team...however, I do have alot of respect for their coach and his understanding of the game in it's totality!

I agree. Miami needs to trade down and pick up a late first and a second, or two seconds. Pick up the best offensive lineman first and then hopefully (RB)ingram(doubt it) will be available or (RB) Leshoure.

I know miami needs to pick up a QB. I'm just not comfortable with any in this draft at 15.

You know, Miami ended up picking up Brandstater (I think I'm spelling it right) who played QB here in town for Fresno St. He's got the perfect size for a QB, 6'5, 225 +/-, and played in a pro style offense here. He needs work, but that's what coaches are supposed to do...COACH! He's got a butt load of potential, and he's sitting on the practice squad right now! He really could be a diamond in the rough! AND all this is coming from me, and I'm not even a Fresno St. Fan even though I live here!

I will agree with that comment. I remember watching him with the Colts in the preseason and thinking that he looked better than Curtis Painter (our second string QB). I would rather have kept him, especially since we let Jim Sorgi (our previous #2) go as well.

You know, I can't either. But I am happy that Miami did pick up Tom Brandstater. At worst, he might make a good backup. But I can't help but think that with the right coaching, he could be a good NFL QB.

it doesn't hurt to give him a shot, but i was reading some stuff on him, and he hasn't faired so well so far. Not sure if teams aren't giving him the time of day, or if they really don't see anything in him. he was drafted by denver in 09, but was released after they drafted tebow in 2010. Indy picked him up, but then dropped him for Painter. And the only reason miami picked him up was because of pennington and henne getting hurt.

I hear you. You actually got me laughing. With all the great playoff games going right now, you and I are talking about Miami! BUT I love it, because as far as I'm concerned, Miami is all that matters!
