I've never tried it I always drink boring water. I would think by the name it has no cals which would make me think no sugar but some of the so called healthy sports drinks are pretty much sugar water, those should be avoided and if not the calories should be included in your calorie count for the day. Generally speaking it's better to get cals from whole foods, it is always said it's better to eat your cals than drink them.

Its like drinking water, its just easier because it has a little flavor, its really the only thing I could drink outside of water when i was in training mode 3 months before competition, it has everything gatoraid has without calories and sugar and still the benefits of a sports drink.

what to do

Just got done digging the cars out of the snow and cleared the driveway and stairs (dont worry camaro is in garage till spring), question do I drag myself to the gym or relax? I did sweet a lot. I also cut down my milk and juice by 4ozs a serving just by using a smaller cup.

Had an excellent workout with my trainer last night....LOVE HIM! I'm signing up for 10 more sessions with him. He's a really good guy and pushes me without making me feel like crap! I also did my 4th day of my running program (2 miles). Gets easier every day!

I haven't seen any pounds drop this week yet, but I'm eating right and keeping up my routine, so I'm sure it'll all fall into place, right???

At times I think I'm not eating enough and not getting enough calories, but I'm trying. I'm eating several small items throughout the day and I'm almost never hungry except when I first wake up. I think I'll start journaling my food so I can post it here for your guys to give me some guidance.

I love how I feel and how others are seeing me now. I get compliments almost every day on how I look thinner, peppier, glowing, etc. It's awesome Of course, I've been working at a lot of life changes over the past several months, so it's not just this past week that I've made changes. Gotta say, I'm a pretty happy camper right about now.

Thanks to everyone for the support!

Do not be decieved 'cause you don't see the pounds coming off. Sometimes the body can improve drastically and it is not reflected by weight loss (right away. it is accumilative) If you are doing things right you are most likely improving, sometimes people get discouraged because the weight doesn't come off instantly but remember it didn't come on that way.

If you post your typical food intake and exercise routine I'm sure some of us can help.

If you rush to the gym shoveling could be your warm up. Besides shoveling that snow probably didn't even burn off the milk and juice. If you are serious about eating bhealthy both should be avoided, with the exception of a serving or two of no-fat milk which actually is beneficial if you don't over do-it.

I am bot a fan of the scale. I think it lies. Even if it says you havent ost weight doesnt mean you havent lost inches, which I feel is a better measurement of weight loss. Since I started working out hardcore again I have GAINED 1.8 lbs. But my clothes are falling off. The scale cab really depress you so dont check ot too often. Focus on how you feel and look.
