I know it wont blow it away at the track but it should still consistently beat it by 2-3 tenths and amplify those gains that on the streets where the z/28 auto will definitely have the edge.

Even with my DR's id still be afraid to go against a CTS-V at a red light. This would be more equal if they put a TVS supercharger on top of the GT500 like the LSA has.

Seems like it should be equal on the street given that neither car will be able to hook the low end they are capable of. In a perfect world if both cars were able to hook I agree that the TVS will make more power than the Eaton. I also wonder what the actual weight of the Z28 will be. I would expect it to be more than a standard SS given the weight of the supercharger and necessary
parts.

I'm guessing between an SS and a CTSV sedan....

If we're lucky, under 4K...... but I'd be surprised....

Typically when a car is on a dyno, for smog or to measure power, they watch the computer not the cars gauges, at least all that i've seen do.

I apologize for the sarcasm. but please... don't accuse us of not being fair.

I'll admit that mass merg of mustang threads is annoying... However, there is an entire board of Camaro fans that don't like seeing mustang threads all over the place.

And also it seems, to us, that the mustang owners just love to rub our noses in it anytime anything mustang or ford realted hits the streets...

So you'll have to forgive me a little if I seem biased... You'd have to see it from our side I guess.
You know, I had noticed that the mega thread was just about dead, and I thought about thanking the mods for it, but thought the best thing to do was just keep quiet. I did up until now.

As far as being "fair", how can you be fair and be biased?

I'll give you credit for admitting your bias, at least it explains why this thread was left in the spotlight, while the others were buried in the darkness that is the mega thread.

I know you don't have to please me, and I know this is a Camaro forum first. But I hope I can at least express my disappointment in the decision you made. It seemed like things were getting better...

I never claimed to be fair. In fact I illustrated that it is nearly impossible for us to be fair as all the mods here are either Camaro owners or enthusiasts...

It is inherently impossible to be fair when you align with one side of the rivalry. Which was the reason for my sarcastic comment to Dan to go tell the mustang boards to be fair... Maybe I should have said, "don't accuse us of not being fair to mustang owners."

There are more substantial reasons to leave this thread stand. One is I think the risk of dyno tuning is real and it is a disaster when a car grenades like this. You may or may not believe me, but if it was a camaro, this thread would have 10x the traffic. Sure some of our members will use this as a chance to take a shot but, here comes the bias, this is a camaro site and we do enjoy the rivalry as much as the mustang guys do...

So don't expect us to be fair on this... If this site was a Muscle Car forum then yes. we'd have standing rules on bashing and so on.

But we aren't, we are a camaro forum and cater to camaro owners.

Does that mean Mustang owners aren't welcome here? Absolutely not. But are they gonna have to grin and bear it a little while they are here? Yes they will.

And does that mean that we will let our members be rude or instigate flame wars? NO. we will not. if you could see the history of some of those Camaro vs mustang threads you'd see that it is pretty even the number of Camaro and Mustang owners who get infracted or banned. but you can't see that...

So it is assumed that we encourage mustang bashing and randomly ban mustang owners cus it's fun....

Again, sarcasm...

We are in a no win situation on this. In the end we will stick to our roots as a camaro site and try to be as fair as possible without sacrificing the fact that we are, in fact, a camaro forum.

Hope that makes sense.
