I take that back. It's Toyota that does thes commercials. Toyota fail!
Does not surprise me a bit.

OH && isn't it funny the people that want to ban lead to regulate ammunition are the same people touting "green" solutions like nuclear waste and many many more lead batteries? interesting. srry, the irony kills me. green is OK i guess but best stuff is wind and solar. same irony here, wind isn't good LOL it kills birds (windmills. . . just vicious)

>.<

rofl IDK what to say about some ppl haha, I'll just shut up now :P

However, batteries are getting better. Electric cars ARE faster. They generally don't provide the visceral rush that a V8 (or V10/V12) provides as far as noise and raw excitement.
Just tell that guy with the fast electric car that you want to race 20 miles. LMAO

Really?! That's the biggest issue you have with this commercial?!

If anything, the biggest issue with this commercial should be that it's rediculous from the get-go. Nissan is trying to tell us that by going out and purchasing a Nissan Leaf we'll be solving some problem that scientists can't even agree that we're the cause of?

Yeah, okay, I'll get right on that

And don't even get me started on how "eco-friendly" the amount of mining is that is required to supply all those rare Earth metals that are in the electric motors and all the chemicals that go into these new batteries.

But no one ever asks about that

You can't have your cake and eat it too. We say we want freedom, but do we really? If you want this to be a free nation, don't expect everyone to go with the norm. Everybody is going to be bothered by something. There's no reason to get Butt Hurt over some commercial. If your kid decides to try to hug a polar bear, that's your (the parent's) fault for not watching your child. Got 20 kids like the Duggars? Only take 2 at a time to the zoo.

So the point is: polar bears don't eat vegetables? No wonder they're so cranky - needs more fiber.
