I was torn between 3 colors. I love blues so the obvious choice would have been either ABM or IBM. I ruled out the darker blue because it was too close to black, and living in the California desert, Black SUCKS! Been there, done that....... Refused to get another car that had the front dirty before you finished drying off the rear. I also loved the look of the '69 in Orange with either black or white stripes.

So that left the choice between either ABM or IOM. After a long heart wrenching talk with the wife she picked IOM because of the IO interior option and I've not regretted it for a second. Not a fan of the stripe options for the 5th gen, but that will get changed soon enough.

Process of elimination. I had black once, beautiful, but the upkeep was intense. My first Camaro was similar to RJT which I did order but later changed. My original choice was IBM, but I thought it was too dark. I already had 3 silver cars in the driveway, so that was out. I decided to take a chance on ABM even though the color chips weren't that good and I had never seen the color in person.

LMAO... That random guy at the Houston Auto Show knew his stuff...

I didn't get to choose the color on this car but if I did it would have been a CGM pace car like Daytona.

I saw the BLACK concept camaro and thought it was the coolest thing ever. i like black, its sexy, but keeping it clean is downright impossible. i plan on trading it in for a VR SS, though i would kill for an ABM if i could find one.

IOM was the only color I wanted in this car. I didn't want the camaro in any other color. I didn't even get stripes on it either. However I'm reconsidering getting white or black stripes with a new after market hood.

Wanted a white one with orange stripes....BUT the dealer in Seattle wouldn't let go of the one he had, and there were not any white ones to be had on the west coast, well within 10 hours of here. I have always had a thing for the 69 pace cars since I first saw a new one. The factory was not taking orders for the 11's yet and it was supposed to be about 2 months before they would take the order.

I owned a 69 Z28 in "Aqua Blue" (wanted to do that for memories) but that color had already been discountinued. I own a 99 hugger orange camaro and my Harley is orange sunglow, My 68 Chevelle is tuxedo black (one pain in the rear car is enough)and I wanted something different than I was seeing around.....the dealer had a SIM coming in with all the goodies we wanted, so we bought that, and we have only seen one other in town.
We will definetly order next time.

CONGRATS leonardo!

Black is it

Black just looks mean!

Pain to really keep clean - but that is the price of admission.

my last 3 cars were all black. decided i wanted a change, can there be anymore of a change then going from black to rally yellow. always wanted a yellow car, but as many have said nothing looks better than a shiny black car. but to be honest, i really love the yellow, glad i decided to give it a try.
