Watched it last night, pretty awesome. I like how they actually showed some emotional response to the zombies. How he went back for the first one he saw was an awesome scene. Though Im not convinced I like the actor yet, but will keep watching.

On a side note....they land helicopters in the craziest places.

I thought that is exactly what made the short-lived TV series Jericho so great, too. (Available from NetFlix; zombies not included.)

I missed this thread...

I came across episode 1 on Hulu yesterday morning and watched it. Wow! Better than most zombie movies.

Then watched episode 2 last night.

Awesome show!

I too had flash backs to Jericho (also an awesome show), with the mental and physical struggle of human survival.
