Calling all zombie fans!

looks like AMC is launching a new TV series based on a zombie apocalypse! The Walking Dead. It premiers on Sunday October 31st at 10pm EST.

So if you're a fan of the undead and your Saturday night hangover isnt too bad, check it out. Im doubly interested since its set in my home state!

Yeah.. is it just me or is AMC becoming the basic cable version of HBO?

I agree. That half zombie at the end of this trailer looks awesome though. As for the drunken stupor, Im more of a fan of rabid infected (ala 28 Days) than shambling walking undead. But hey, as long as people are being mauled by hordes of undead its all good.

I've been a huge fan of the comic series since it came out a few years back, and have been looking forward to it being brought to life. While the zombies pose a constant threat the story in the comics really shines light on what evils the living are capable of when the world goes to hell which is what makes this series great imo. I read a review on IGN last week and they gave it a thumbs up, so pretty psyched for Sunday night.
