Interesting CA. DMV factoids

The California Department of Vehicles has a software package that tells them, when you call, whether you're on a cell phone or land line. If you're on a cellphone they can then determine how much charge you have left and then play bad music until your charge runs out. If you are on a land line they set the music to play until they think you are dead, then cut it off. The only solution is to plug in your cell, drink a bunch of booze and hope you are awake when they answer. God I love Californioa civil servants.
