Question Corvette meets WalMart - ?

This is interesting -

This accident features a black 2007 Corvette driven by 75-year-old Carl Sloan of Morgan Hill, CA. Sloan and 58 year old Teenie Denise were cruising the parking lot of a local Wal-Mart when the car suddenly accelerated and crashed into the front of the store. The cause of the accident may have been due to a medical condition. Both went to the hospital and will be okay. The Corvette? Not so much…

What're you talking about, Scotty? That'll buff right out.
At least no one was hurt besides to occupants.

But why cruise through a Wal-Mart parking lot?? I'd take it through a mountain pass or beach-side highway.

Actually, I think thats some sort of crossbreeding attempt. Someone else tried it and ended up with this:

Yeah, I saw some cotton head drive into a mall lobby in Pentiction a few years ago. He got out of his Dakota and said the truck suddenly accelerated. Hmmm think he missed the fat pedal.

If it makes anyone feel any better, I was 34 when I ran into a Target. Well is more of bump really but the front of my car hit the side of Target. Don't panic, it was in a Mitsubishi galant...
