GM really "blew it" putting 4 useless extra gears on the auto Camaro. Nobody will notice the difference and those that do won't even care. They see through these dumb marketing gimmics.

Now a Glass Roof! There's an innovation you can sink your teeth into! Not only has it never been done before on any car worth mentioning, but the solar heating it provides saves tons of energy making the car more "green" by using less fossil fuel to heat the car in winter. Also, the hot air inside the car (from the solar roof, not the driver) actually makes makes the car lighter in much the same way as a hot air balloon or the Hindenberg...

You guys are stupid for being Camero Fanboys!

Oh PS: They can make engines out of a new metal called ALUMINIUM also. Wild hey?
Is that some alloy of Aluminum?

Maybe the title of this thread is correct and they now feel obligated to defend their car.
Did you ever consider that some Mustang guys are popping up on these forums because they're considering getting a Camaro, and are here to learn? I know I am.

I've had three Z28s and three Mustang GTs, so I'll basically get whichever I think is the better car and the better value.

I'm not sure where it's written that someone can't like both cars? I do.

Would you really take an Altima over a Mustang GT? A front-wheel drive 6-cylinder over a rear-wheel drive V8?

2010 Mustang's New "SOS" Safety System Offered

Well, at least Ford got one thing right with the 2010 Mustang even if the HP wasn't up to the expectations of the Mustang Loyalists. The new "SOS" Post Crash Alert System (Activates when Airbags deploy, Emergency flashers turn on, Engages horn and Doors unlock for quick exiting) ... should come in very handy when the 315 HP Mustang GT owner looks on in complete shock while a 422 HP Camaro SS owner easily cruises by distracting the Mustang owner from paying attention to the vehicle on the road ahead of them ... which it now rear ends.

Appearently, there was a third feature to the "SOS" system along with the Flashing lights and Horns, but Ford thought that it would make the accident a little to obvious. It was a little WHITE FLAG which would be deploy up by the power antenna indicating that the Mustang had indeed surrendered!

In all seriousness.... the safety features on all of todays new cars are designed for one purpose only. That is to protect the driver and thier passengers from serious and possible life threatening injuries. Please keep in mind that there is NO EXCUSE for drinking and driving over this holiday season. If you're planning on going out for New Years Eve, please designate a non-drinker for the ride home or better yet... get a Taxi!

Happy New Year to ALL !

They made a last minute addition to the Mustang Standard Equipment list. They've created the innovative new DOD (Diaper on Demand) system. Apparently the test drivers reported crapping in their pants when confronted with the 2010 Camaro Specs, and they needed to do something inexpensive to combat this.

Steve
I think it will be, too. I plan to put an SS in the garage next to the GT500 as well once the prices settle after the initial release. No way am I paying MSRP or more just to be one of the first to have one. I waited on the GT500, I can wait on the Camaro.

BTW, I've read a few of your posts over on svtperformance. Welcome to the world of GT500 ownership. If you can get past the "playskool" interior, ancient suspension and the fact that it is just a GT with a blower, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

for the muscle enthusiast whether it be challenger, mustang or camaro owners I have the utmost respect for you

for the people that signed up on the site to to troll and have no interest in the 5th gen camaro let the smile do the talking

im not saying any of you mustang/challenger owners are trolls so don't take it the wrong way

on another note

i hope the 2011 mustang will be a major improvement

and to be honest if there was no 5th camaro most of us would buy the mustang or challenger or a used camaro

I think the Mustang and Camaro both are very cool cars.To like one and hate the other, how can you be a true American performance car guy.Carroll Shelby ever heard of him. What about Jack Roush, Steve Saleen and Steeda. No other car has had this much attention not even Camaro. Some of you on this forum have no busness driving these cars Camaro or Mustang. You have NOPI for you guys, wait i think they have fizzeld out anyway it was a car club for ricers.
