1000 hp is too much.. If I wanted a drag car, I would build one. If I want a fast street legal car, with all the creature comfurts I have grown accustomted to, I will buy one. The two really don't comingle.

I don't know about that. I bet every review of this car will begin with the words, "holy" or "wow." It's not just some gt500 with 1000hp; not a slapped together track-day car. I bet this car will put down monster times on the 'ring.

I think what he was trying to say is that a new car is not an investment. There's no doubt that classic muscle/pony cars are going to appreciate in value as they get older.

Right now I would start looking into purchasing 80's Ferrari's. Those are bound to appreciate since all kinds of kids grew up with those on their walls.
