I know the Cadillac V has some great performance to it. I don't think it looks very good and not much different than a CTS. If they could improve the look they might have a winner.

I watched the E63 beat-down. It was great. The CTS-V (gen 2) is an amazing vehicle. I was totally surprised watching each of the contests fully expecting the E63 to win, especially on the wet test. Seeing Tanner totally surprised on the rolling 60-130 test - watching the CTS-V pull away like the E63 was standing still. Priceless.

The E63 AMG and M5 don't look very different than a standard E-class or 5-series...

I didn't mean to ruffle any feathers but your correct looks are subjective and to me it doesn't garnish a 2nd look despite it's amazing performance. Park it next to some of the other cars mentioned and watch to where the ladies flock to. I guess then again I'm mid thirties and single so curb appeal is still important.

on looks (imo) and granted this is a gm forum but i'm still a camaro owner- you would get 100% difference on bmw-mercedes boards as gm get's little respect.
1. mercedes 2. bmw 3. caddy ..... and top gear well clarkson was pretty brutal overall about the v. speed channel gave their results to the ctsv but many other shows and mags pick the e63. i would take an e55 over either. i guess the real answer is buy what you like and can afford. i've posted this before my s class was 2x the amount of my previous V model but from my experience it's at least 2x better overall. speed is only part of an automobile- Last edited by TOBY J; 08-29-2010 at 01:28 PM. |
